Members Yo_Squig
I am installing a set of EMG's...81/85 combo and I cannot figure out what I am doing wrong....I followed the diagram,I have installed and reintalled them 3 times now and have the same problem....only the neck pup works..if I toggle either up or down only the neck pup works...like I said,I ran both wires from the three way to each respective pot and I get the same results...I rigged it where only each one was wired just to see if there was issues with the bridge pup and it works when wiring it by itself, but when I hook up the 3-way...same problem persists....I do not know what I am doing wrong.....anyone with any knowlege in ths area please offer me some assistance......Thanks so much.... Members -Assy-
what kind of three way switch, provide a diagram and how you wired it. you likely have something wired to something its not supposed to be wired to. happens a lot. Members Yo_Squig
just a standard Gibson 3 way toggle switch....one tip has 3 wires the outer two are green and white..those go the the volume pots on the neck and bridge pups and the middle is red, which is supposed to be the hot wire and the black(ground) is on teh other end, which I soldered to the neck volume pot....
