My brother's rock band covers the Gourds cover of Gin and Juice. Its a rock n roll version of a bluegrass version of a rap song. The audience loved it. I say try it. If it bombs, don't do it again. EG

 

 

my old band used to do ice ice baby... of course we never made it to the gigging stage, but it kicked ass in my garage:lol:
