Members thebigpong
Right now my guitar cuts out after a few seconds of playing. i recently dropped it at band practice and my guitar has active pickups. i replaced the battery with one from a pedal and worked now its back? u think it is a wiring/pup problem or battery? Members benricci
If it's cutting out it sounds like you've got a loose connection somewhere.
Members mrbrown49
Did you drop it with a cord plugged into it? If so, it's most likely the jack. If not, you probably jostled a connection loose. Check for a cracked solder joint.

Can you make it cut in and out by messing with the cable (at the guitar end) while it is plugged in? It could be a broken solder joint.

Members mrbrown49
ya but then works again if i tilt my guitar a certain way You might just need to retention the spring connector. Bend it towards center a bit so it fits tighter against the plug.

Members orbm1
MAke sure that the terminals for the battery are nice and snug... if the contact is not good, you will have those issues... hope this helps Omar

Members BluesBrother
Yeah, sounds like the cable to the input jack or pups is loose or disconnected. You probably won't have to buy anything but solder? I had a similar problem.
Members k4df4l
Check the part highlighted in red when you plug a cable in...the folded over section should firmly contact the plug http://www.guitarnucleus.com/gitschems/jack_mono.jpg
