Members brianeharmonjr
Agreed. I'll admit that I damn near cried when I found out he died because I loved his music and playing SO much. Pantera will always be a part of my life, but he was no saint and shouldn't be deified like that. I don't mind an article here or there but its really excessive at this point. He should get the same kind of treatment any other dead guitar god gets. John Lennon had a much more profound influence on music and he doesn't get half the coverage Dime does in guitar rags. When GW did the "Ask your guitar hero" section with Pantera's drummer I called and told them not to bother sending their magazine to me any longer. Members Faber
A more focused content. I think the idea that a mag should cover all the bases - articles, interviews, lessons, etc. is a redundant one. I'd much rather pay for one that does a few of those things well, which is why Guitar Technique is the one that I mostly buy these days.
Members Goofball Jones
What features would I like to see more of in guitar magazines? Brutal, unflinching, honest reviews. "Be honest....and unmerciful". I would like to see an end to Dimebag Darrel coverage. He's the reason I stopped my Guitar World subscription.Seriously. +
