Members soundcreation
I think that's cool if you were into music memorabilia and all that. I'm not thought and I could careless about people's autographs so I wouldn't pay more than 1500 bucks for it.
Members harold heckuba
You could spray some gold model car paint over those signatures to restore it. :)

Members guitarcapo
were Gibson humbuckers even invented in 1952?
Members docjeffrey
were Gibson humbuckers even invented in 1952? I have owned many 1952 Les Pauls and I am positive this is a 1952. It does not look like one, because as stated in the auction the pickups, tail piece and bridge are changed. It originally had a trapese tail piece, there is evidence of this tail piece due to holes at the butt of the guitar, also if you remove the pickups, you can see the original pickup routes from the P90 style pickups. The headstock logo position and the style is that of a 1952 or 53 Les Paul. I bought this from a good friend of Tito Jackson, he attended the Jackson Family awards and personally had all of the Jacksons sign it. I can provide a letter of authenticity from him proving that. The invitation is his, the one he used to attend. If you have a serious interest in purchaing the guitar, I will provide additional photos to show proof that it is a 1952 or 53 Les Paul. Thank you, Neal

Members BG76
That LP has been up there before. I love Tito's playing. One of my first influences. His blues thing he does now is really good too. For a goldtop it's high (kind of) but if it were a 345 I would be tempted. A lot of people discount the J5 but they were a great group. Both Michael and Tito collected guitars to the point that they bought Kramer. They did an interview with MJ where he was in his house and there were about 14 brown Lifton cases lined up. Plus Tito would play without missing any dance moves and singing. If you ever saw the J5 part of the show was Tito doing a few blues numbers on his own. He's not some fly by night SRV wannabe like so many that bash him. The Jackson 5 was one of the greatest R&B groups of all time, behind probably only The Temptations. Some people don't get it. Members guitarcapo
Why are they calling it "Tito's 1952 Goldtop Les Paul"? Tito never owned it or played it. His friend just brought it to some awards show and had the Jackson 5 sign it.
