Members favata5
Hey Doc,I played one in the store for a little bit, wanted to love it,nice classy looking, but its tone at home playing level was like the flavor of sweaty bathwater yuck,,lifeless, muddy,no character, cranked up it showed promise.walked away in the end ,came home cranked up my Little Traynor ycv 20 and smiled again! Its too bad because I wanted to love that Marshall!

Members Bob411
I was curios too. Just got thick MF catalog in the mail yesterday. Took a full page to give as little information as possible. Probably not a good sign.
Members Saturn
Maybe I'm just a sucker for Marshall's but I like the Class 5. I checked one out when I bought my Haze. I really wanted to buy it but it wasn't what I was there to get. I had a hard time walking out of the store without it. Yes it needs to be turned up a little to get that Marshall sound. You have to let these amps breath a little. You really can't get that crunch you expect from a Marshall at low volumes.
