Members firesdoom
I recently sat down and studied the features that I don't like on all of my guitars and have decided to sell one if I can find one with the right specs that plays well. I'm only really concerned about playability as I have a spare EMG 81 that will be going in the bridge of this guitar. I don't want too crazy a body style and flat black would be preferable. The specs I'm looking for are as follows. 24 3/4 scalelow fret radiusbridge with individual string height adjustmentno complicated tremolos That's pretty much the sticking issues. It's really not much to ask for but I spent over an hour looking on guitar center's website and couldn't really find anything. Any help is appreciated, thanks. Members Roflmao
Sounds like your best bet is to buy a Strat and get a Warmoth conversion neck. That's the only thing I can think off. I haven't seen anything with those guidelines that wasn't from a custom shop. http://www.warmoth.com/Pages/GuitarNecks.aspx
Members docjeffrey
Why do you need individual bridge height adjustments? If the bridge matches the neck radius, fixed saddle heights are so much easier to deal with.

Members firesdoom
I might have gotten the neck radius confused. I would like a fairly flat neck.

If the bridge matches the neck radius, fixed saddle heights are so much easier to deal with. I go from palm muting to not quite often. I want the strings to be fairly even so I don't have to press down too hard. I play a lot of thrash but the longer scale is too long for my hands. I play my Pacifica 512 almost all the time and my only issue with it is the scale.

Members firesdoom
I didn't think this thread would get so many hits so fast so I'll give you guys more background information. My other guitar is a LTD Viper 301. The only thing I really like about it is the scale, the frets, and the active EMG's. I have a lot more trouble palm muting on anything other than the top strings because of the more variable string height it has. I need to sell this guitar to finance my next one. I was hoping to find a cheap to moderately priced guitar with the specs of my choosing, make sure it plays well and drop the 81 in there.

I haven't seen anything with those guidelines that wasn't from a custom shop.http://www.warmoth.com/Pages/GuitarNecks.aspx this sounds like a very good approach - with a Warmoth neck (a 24 3/4" conversion neck as Roflmao stated) you can pick the fret size, the nut width, the back contour, the fretboard radius, as well as the woods used. Members headless
with this information - you are looking for an LP style guitar with the Babicz bridge ... I was looking at those bridges on the Babicz site, and although I love the look of the gear, it looked like palm muting might be difficult. Anybody had experience with these bridges? http://www.fullcontacthardware.com/products.html

I never play the neck pickup anyway. My Yamaha only has one pickup in it lolz.
