So how is the JT580LP trem on the Jackson DK2?

I've really been wanting a super strat style guitar with a Floyd and the HSS pickup configuration. Kinda crazy that it's so hard to find a decent HSS super strat guitar these days.

Anyone have any comments on the Jackson JT580LP trem (as seen on the DK2)?

Their no OFR but they are good none the less.

I had some minor intonation/tuning issue's with mine when I bought both a DXMG and DK2 loaded with them.

I took them completely apart though and cleaned them thoroughly and both were perfect afterwards.

The hex heads were a bit too soft imo as well but not a major biggie just make sure the wrench is completely in the hex before tightening.

Great MIJ guitar btw and Excellent Super Strats.

I agree with Loco.. The current Jackson import hardware is a joke.

Personally, if I were buying a sub $1000 superstrat, right here is what I'd be going for:

This is the Russian Roulette by Gary Kramer (yeah, that Kramer).. They're imported parts then assembled in the states, just like Kramer did back in the day.

$895 and badass!
