Members Velvet Hammer Posted January 31, 2010 Members Share Posted January 31, 2010 I have a strat body that has been burned and sanded with a orbital sander and primed. I didnt do it to the guitar the guy I bought it from did. The edges have flat spot and it looks bad. How would I go about fixing this. I think all guitars deserve a good chance. I have a vast amount of tools and I am confident in my woodworking skills. Just never used them on a guitar other then routing them. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Members hrcnsfan Posted January 31, 2010 Members Share Posted January 31, 2010 Can't really see anything wrong from the pic.Off the top of my head I might try to smooth out and contour the flat spots you're talking about and reapply primer and then paint.
