Members sxyryan
The P90s in my SG Classic are amazing. So Gibson ones. BG pickups are also awesome, I don't have any of his P90s but he wound me a custom neck pickup for my tele and it's the best neck tele pup I've ever used. Great service too. Members BG76
Gibson if you're looking for something good for a low price, Lollar if you want a really spot on P-90 tone. I would look at wbay for something used. The Duncans are pretty good as well.
Members Norcal_GIT_r
Thanks for all the replies guys and gals!!! I also have a new MM90 Rail pickup in the works also if you are interested. It's a P90 styled pickup that uses a blade instead of screw poles. All of my MM90s fit the guitar without any routing. Moderators Ratae Corieltauvorum Posted February 2, 2010 Moderators Share Posted February 2, 2010 so how close does it get to the real deal? What do you mean by the "real deal"? Do you mean is it a P90 or is it a real MM pickup?
