Members timme_v
I'm looking to sell my rockerverb50 because it can't handle dirty pedals.. well at all. I was thinking maybe I can get rid of the need of an OD pedal by having 3 channels.. clean-crunch-lead.. Everything I've played in shops only have 2 channels (some with variations on those channels).. 5:50, supersonic, renegade, jvm. Ultimately I'd like the lead channel to handle thick powerchords, and the clean to have alot of headroom and the crunch inbetween. Any suggestions? I'm looking to pay $2500-$3000AUD if it's a head, a little bit more if it's a combo.

The Nomads can be pretty thin. Fine if you use fat-sounding guits, not so flattering with Strats. Mrak V Legacy 2 V3 all take pedals well & sound good to great without them. Members tlbonehead
love my Nomad 45 head. Nothing thin sounding about it, unless you want it that way.
Members timme_v
Thanks for all that guys.. The only mesa's I've played at 5:50 and dual rectos. The recto sounds too modern metalish for me.. Far too much gain for my liking.. How does this compare to the gain on the MarkV? I read that Nomad's aren't the best Mesa's.. But I will have a look into those as well. I think the MarkV would suit me.. I just have to find one to test it out. Edit: I play a fender tele 72 deluxe. Hopefully that shouldn't sound too thin. I don't know. Mesa makes all kinds of nice stuff. Might as will try one.
