Members The Bear
Saw both last night, and Damn what a show. Buddy Guy ROCKED THE HOUSE.The man has an energy that can't be stopped, 74 years old or not. He wasn't jumping around the stage like some 20 year old, but his playing and singing is energized. He also has one of the best keyboard players I've ever seen or heard. Funnier than {censored} too.You can just see and hear the feeling coming out of that Strat. He came on first and played about an hour and a half. This was our second time seeing BB in two years and he was wonderful. At 84 his voice is still unbelievably strong, and he plays Lucille just as beautiful as ever. What a man, and what an Icon.He truly is a legend. He has about the best band I've heard. They are so together, it's amazing. It's an honor to see so much talent on a stage. He talked about retiring, but he was just teasing, and he played more than the last time.He was on for over an hour as well. Damn, Buddy Gy kicks ass. What a night.(I recorded some of both playing. If it came out good I'll post.)

I was fiddling around with the song "Hound Dog" a while back and I found an old YouTube video of Big Mama Thornton with Buddy Guy playing the guitar. Needless to say their version was outstanding. I would give almost anything to see and hear either one of them.
Members BlackHatHunter
Buddy's the man. I love his work. The intensity with which he plays and sings is staggering. BB is the king, so that's not bad either. What a show!
