But I do have a nice USA Strat and I've been wanting to get a Tele for a long time. I came across one of the new American Specials at the store and found that it was perfect for me! Jumbo frets. Medium slim neck... a little chunky. Texas Special pickups. Neck is straight and the action is low. I love the way it plays and sounds. Played it on the gig last night and it sounds HUGE! I like white guards on the lighter finishes though, but both of my teles have black, so maybe I'm just tired of black guards:~).
