Members MattZ31
Are the parts of the FR system that the posts screw into that are in the guitar body mounted permanately or can you remove them? I have a partscaster with an Original Floyd that I might pull and put onto another guitar that's of better quality, and just curious if I can remove those parts of the post or if I'll just need to buy a couple new ones? Members zantor9
im sure it has to be possible or it would be useless for people to be selling floyd rose bridges seperatley. Ive never tried removing one, but if i did ill bet it wouldnt be any different from removing any other floating bridge. :poke:
Members MattZ31
If they don't come out easily, or with little persuasion, I might just leave them in the guitar then. Thanks for the info loconzly. It's just a cheap body that was routed by a previous owner when installing it, so it's not exactly the greatest. Maybe I'll part out the body, sell the GFS hum, DiMarzio neck single and the Mighty Mite neck and keep the Floyd
