Korean Squiers of a certain period were plywood though. One of the best strats I ever played was a plywood Korean Squier II. It had a dirty, kickass strat-sound. No it probably won't be plywood it will be a cheaper far eastern solid wood. Do a bit of digging on tdpri.com there is sure to be some info if your serious.
