Members Huh? Posted December 26, 2009 Members Posted December 26, 2009 I'm a long time PT user and have the latest PT 8 version.... but I am keeping my studio Mac Pro on 10.5.8 for now, simply because SL is not yet qualified. I have SL installed on my MacBook Pro. I have both 002Rack and Eleven Rack and 002 is rock solid, Eleven has crashed a few times.......{censored}ing annoying. Nice tones though!!
Members Geoff Grace Posted December 26, 2009 Members Posted December 26, 2009 If that's true, I imagine that accounts for at least some of the disk "space savings" people have reported with SL vs Leopard. Probably not all of it (since they supposedly removed all the legacy PPC code), but still... Yes, both reasons are true -- there are both illusory and real space savings in the new OS. Best, Geoff

Members thankyou Posted December 26, 2009 Members Posted December 26, 2009 I migrated from a G5 to a new MBP with little hassle. I guess Tascam hasn't (maybe won't) make a driver for the US428, but I want to go firewire for a recording interface anyway.
