Members RocknRollOver
So, the pictures. A little late but yeah, I've been lazy what can I say. I painted the guitar that I had been working on. I did the swirl paint technique and am very satisfied with the outcome. Without further ado and both of mine Hey bonus pic Pedal Board Well there you go!
Members soliloquy
whats going on with the horn? and how come you didn't put a clear coat on the finish? it will start scratching soon if you dont
Members AxAxSxS
I think that could look great if you take everything off, sand a bit and add some clear coat. As it is, it looks unfinished. Not a fan of the horn but as long as you like it thats what matters right?
Members Slave2TheAudio
I think you might look back at that and

Members D34dBaWx
I'm not going to bust your balls, people make fun of {censored} I do.... But it looks like a strat with a ingrown toe nail
Members Crunchtime
Hate the horn, love the paint. Would look great with maple board and some type of custom fret markers that matched paint.
Members TheBlueStrat
The paint acutally looks pretty cool from afar, but the way you desecrated the strats body contours is just.... upsetting the balance of the universe.
Members FrankenTelly
The paint job has some promise. But the body looks like the product of a mentally disturbed person.
Members Orange Jackson
I had my doubts, But honestly, I think that is {censored}ing cool. Congrats on going your own way and it paying off. I too would like to see you take everything off and clear coat it. Reranch sells nitrocellulose clear in an aerosol can, $15. Maybe three coats of that just to protect it. If you put more than about 4 coats it will darken the look of the guitar, but you should coat it imo. Right arm, and never mind the flamers, you can't please everyone.

Members RocknRollOver
Oh and hey thanks jackson, I did put a clear coat on it, I just don't think I put enough coats on it. I don't know if the enamel based paint has any affect on the way the clear coats comes out, but Im probably going to re-coat it again see if it improves

Members randombastage
Without changing the smaller horn and by putting a regular shaped strat pickguard on it it looks more like a Strat with a battlefield amputation stump than it does a different guitar.ditto on the light sanding and clear coat, it will be worth the effort.
