Members Guitar Heel
I don't know if they're still "popular," but Antigua finishes make me want to throw up. Others I don't like include silverburst, clown burst, and the blue/green dragon burst.* *for some reason, however, I like the lesser-known yellow to green dragon burst, because for whatever reason, if dragons had ever actually existed, I see this as the more plausible color scheme. Members DaveAronow
you're a goddamn crazy person, dave. That is the third time today I've been called that, but I am still convinced it is the REST of the world that is crazy and not me.

Members Guitar Heel
Was that the Gecko-burst they had for a while? Sort of, but not exactly what I was talking about. Gecko was Gibson's super bright, day-glo kinda burst, and that was way too much for me. I've seen a couple older Carvins that had what I guess was the traditional dragonburst, which was a deeper yellow to an emerald green, but mainly just on the edges. It was as subtle as such a combo could be. Not a fan of the Gecko.

Members alex9152
The boring faded sunbursts popular on Les Pauls. I wish they would switch to a fluorescent finish just to piss off the pissburst fanatics. But no, the pissburst fanatics are the ones buying Gibsons right now. Members Blackhell
Black strats with white pickguards and maple necks. I just find them very bland, and boring. You see so many of them it's just overkill. Ugh Silverburst is the tits, tho.

Members PunkKitty
Clown bursts, silver burst, green or purple quilted or tiger stripe maple tops, sparkle anything, gloss black, spalted maple, leather (hand tooled or plain). That dragonburst Carvin is hideous.
