You ever price one of those old Airlines? They're not so cheap these days.

What's he supposed to play? A Strat or LP like everyone and their mom and their 17 cousins?

Half the guys ripping Jack for his guitar choices probably play a black Strat with a white pickguard.

Having ADHD and living through every Michigan party in the 80s of a constant solid dose of Zep, Seger, The Who, over and over and over and...

I have a very low tolerance for classic rock. You know the rock stations that play the classics (the same 60 songs over and over and well...)

So these days I listen to mostly new tunes or the fringe non repeated old stuff. So watching It Might Get Loud I'm chomping because I all about Jack White and love The Edge too.

But walking away from that movie I was in total awe of what a fukin fantastic guitarist Jimmy Page really is! Jack came across as a snob just lookin for a Von Bondy to punch out...

But White was cool doing this!

Did you get your sarcasm bone shot off in the war, or are you just a dick? :poke:

He's mad because I derailed his "How you look is important to music" thread. It had a bunch of shirtless guys with long chick hair. Not like "Hetfield style" long, more like "curled, highlighted, coifed, and ghey" type long.

Now, he's pulled the Flock of Seagulls card.

Yes, he is. Did I count only three strings on his guitar?

But he does not seem to be inspiring the audience. They look like somebody PAID them to stand there- paid them enough to stand there, but not enough to pretend they enjoyed it.

Haven't seen the movie yet, though I hope to. Also not a huge Jack White fan though I appreciate him and some of the work he's done.

He's not always about el-cheapo instruments. He's got quite a few custom Gretsch-type jobs that are damn sweet and I'm sure play like butter.

AMEN . . . . love the white Billy-Bo Gretch of his. ($2.5K guitar ?)

Think he used it on the Bond theme music vif aswell
