Members V-Type
I cant find a pic of it but in high school a guy filled in his Gibson Sg's bridge humbucker cavity with wood filler and then set in place a Single coil in the center. It looked and sounded like ass. I suspect he put a no name SC pickup in without thinking twice.I wish I had a pic.

Members bluesguyjon
i'm afraid about getting slapped for asking this, but what's wrong with 2 octaves? i'd love to have a concrete place to get that harmonic (the 5th fret and over the neck pickup places work about 75% of the time for me)

Members JohnnyR
I think I might have just won the "How much worse can it get?" contest but in all fairness that LP looks like those mods were done a very long time ago when it was "just a guitar" J.R. Most of the damage could be undone except, of course, that cutaway. Even then, a very good luthier might be able to do something about it.

The top is pretty "plain grain" so the cutaway could probably be fixed but between the repairs and the refinish the whole thing would be relatively worthle$$ compared to an unmolested burst:mad: J.R.
