Who here is sick of the same old same old? Who hates being humiliated at an open jam?

Some of us are n00bs; some of us are geezers who play like n00bs; a few are bonafide guitar gods with a face for radio.

Well, I'm tired of it. I'm starting a club. :p

Here's how it works:

1. Post in this thread how much you are going to practice every day. (ex.I will practice no less than 30 minutes every day.)

2. At the end of each day, post how much time you actually played.

3. Post what you practiced, or admit to wasting an hour of your life wanking. Hey, we all do it. ;)

4. Copy/ paste the following link to your sig: The Practice

Let's get better!

My favourite type of practice at the moment is learning riffs. It's the end of the day here in the UK and today I learnt a few lead guitar parts from 'Dock of the bay' (I'm going to try and learn the rest tomorrow) and the opening riff from 'Black dog' by Zep. I also tried to solo over a 'Born under a bad sign' jam track but it was pretty dire, I will have to go and check a few Youtubes to see how other people approach it. Plus about half an hour of aimless (but fun)noodling and powerchord chugging.

I will practice no less than 30 minutes today. I plan on doing chromatic warm ups, followed by a I-IV-V progression or 2, keep practicing the couple covers I know.

And if time permits, chip away at another small piece of Sweet Home Alabama.

Also, I will gladly put the link in my sig if you will tell me how where it says "the practice" like yours

I practice at least 30 min. a day, most days I can get in almost an hour. {censored}, I got up at 6 this morning and practiced for an hour before I went to work, plus I'll get some time in tonight sometime. Besides checkin up on this here site, thats the only other thing I do in my free time. I have lessons every thursday night so I NEED to learn the content of the previous week so I can move on.
