Members dkal24
How about some tips on minimizing or eliminating the static crackling noise when rubbing the pickguard or body of the guitar? This one is driving me crazy guys. It's actually stopping me from playing my strat these days. How bout it guys?
Members Surfdude
Put duct tape around the area where the pickguard hits the guitar body. It acts in a different way than shielding tape does. Surfy
Members Vintage55
I'll have to try the duct tape thing, but for a temporary fix get those anti-static things you throw in the clothes dryer and rub it on the pickguard and screws and it will go away for awhile. Smells good too...
