Members Mid Life Crisis Posted February 18, 2010 Members Share Posted February 18, 2010 Over on the LP forum, Joe Ganzler (the guy who authenticates these things) reckons the reserve is probably set at $750k plus.Not that it will fetch that, the point is for it not to sell via ebay and incure their fees, but to freely advertise the guitar and sell it via private agreement at a later date That would make sense; I mean, would someone actually try to sell a 1959 LP on ebay? Members soundcreation Posted February 19, 2010 Members Share Posted February 19, 2010 i'll take the over Well on ebay you never know....you could be right.. but this one has been toiling on Gruhn guitars site for a long time now Nicer condition and has been reduced from 275K down to just under 200. Maybe they are playing games by setting a high reserve and negotiating later but judging by the 160k it's at now and with 4 days to go they might be wise to take what they can get for it.
