Members DaveAronow
Thanks Dave! It was fun to have something to do last night. I listened to all the ones posted so far - it's cool how so many people can get a different direction on the same line and still make it sound so good.Really like MHUK's - just the right amount of "jump", melody and edge - great playing. Yeah, the most interesting thing to me is how completely different all the interpretaions are. I shouldnt be at all suprised by that, but it is still interesting to hear all the different takes. Members paulskirocks
Man, I have some rhythm tracks down, but the leads keep bugging me... needs lyrics, I think... I don't sing all that well, but I am going to try anyways... Then, the leads will follow, and have meaning... Hope that's ok...
Members JohnnyLarge
'Why, I don't know why....This keeps happenin' to me....Somethin's going wrong in my life...Somethin' I can't see.....The above words just came into my head after listening to Marc's version.....I'll have more soon. Can anyone else add to this. I'm thinking of a Blondie..late 70's early 80's vibe.....

Members danswon
I just threw down this little bass riff for fun to see if anyone wanted to add guitar . It is not a whole song, just a little riff, so not worthy of the weekly jam that Frets hosts or anything. The part is pretty repetetive, the progression doesnt change, and the drums/pattern are a very basic drum machine pattern, but I have a good time jamming over this little riff so I thought I would share it. I'd love to hear what YOU would play over it if you were the guitar player. Thanks, Y'all http://www.soundclick.com/bands/default.cfm?bandID=794691&content=songinfo&songID=8788573 Nice idea! Just wish i hadn't left all my cables at the studio When i bring them back tomorrow night i might have a crack at it. Quite a nice bass sound

Members Jkater
I couldn't pass on this one!I apologize in advance for the very "noodly" quality of the soloing but I'm no MHUK... and I know I'll be forgiven... I just wanted to jump in and be part of this! a take on Dave's BTComping with Pacifica 904, lead with SA2200, both into a Pocket Pod's clean preset. Members paulskirocks
There is some good stuff here! Makes me want to redo my take... These jams are cool, in they take me out of my comfort zone... So, now I am actually practicing some ideas for this groove, realizing that I need to practice the major modes a more... Members metalheadUK
A chance to jam with Dave?! For real? Can't pass that up! Here's my take.... http://wagner-usa.net/tunez/bassb-wag_mixdown01.mp3It's a bit dirtier then I usually play, but I'm using the stock amp models on my old br-8 recorder and the clean tones sound, well, pretty bad. Can't use an amp right now (wife is sleeping!). Anyway, cool jam. Played my srv strat (neck pickup) on both the rhythm and lead track. Got a hair sloppy at the end - was fun though. Good jammin' with ya Dave! Another cool meaty rocky take.Great job!
Members Into Nation
I wonder what MHUK's rhythm track combined with Jkaters lead track would sound like... Could be a new genre! I really dug everyone take on this.
