Members profgalen
I have a LP special with the dreaded p100s in it. I would like to replace them with p90s. I understand that p90s are not as thick as p100s and I need to put foam or something under them. Any suggestions. What would be a good reasonably priced p90 to use. Members TomCray
Yes usually you put foam under P-90s, I wouldn't be surprised if the 100's already have foam under them. And what is your budget for pickups?

Members richey888
I had the Epi '57 RI w/ a P-100. Foam glued to the pickup. If you get those sponges w/ the scrubby scotchbrite side, cut to fit out of the pkg (not used obviously) I found those work great. You can still fine tune pickup height w/ the screws. Dogear or soapbar. I don't know how deep the DC cavity is but you can double up or shave as needed.
