Members maltomario Posted February 25, 2010 Author Members Share Posted February 25, 2010 hard to say which one is better. the socal and the sandimas are both killer guitars, and while they look similar, they have their own unique qualities. From my limited time playing this one, I'd say the SD is a little thicker sounding where as the socal has a slightly more higher end sizzle. I still need to set this one up to my preferences but so far I've just been noodling around on it right out of the box. the neck on this one is superb. great figuring, really really nice. i wonder if they picked the best lookig wood for this limited model or if i just got lucky. Is this the one you were posting about the killer deal on maybe two or three weeks ago? Flames aren't really me, but it's a great guitar.
