The is the EG forum. We all have a stable of 50+ guitars, but play through 15 watt solid state line 6's.

:poke:

Seriously though, I'd help if I could but I don't have any of those amps. I do have 3 ampegs though, just not a v4.

what ampegs?

everyone in the amp forum has rediculously expensive/nice {censored}... lots of modern gain action from what i've seen so far

Only one of em is vintage sadly, 65 gemini I.

I also have a j-12t (Jet reissue) and an sr212rt. Love em all but I play mostly clean. The Jet was the best 300 I've spent on gear. I did swap out the reverb tank for a better one though. That was the only thing I didn't really like stock but that was only another 30 bucks.

FWIW, the track in my sig was all done with the gemini.

sounds phenominal!

matching cab?

and how high are you running the pream/post for the clean sound there?

i'm after loud clean, that takes dirt extremely well which yours seems to!

I do have the matching cab, but it's a 215 bass cab and sounds like crap for overdriven guitars. I'm using an Avatar 212 with a G12H30 and a V30 there.

There is no pre/post on that amp. It's a bass channel and a normal channel with a volume, bass, and treble knob on each channel. I'd have been running the bass and treble pretty much in the middle, and the volume around 3 on the normal channel.

It's not a super loud, super clean Fender. It starts breaking up a little after 3 or so, and the volume maxes out probably around 6, and has a bit of hair on it by that point.

Still, that's a big venue and a big stage, and even though everything was mic'd, we normally don't run guitar or bass through the monitors, and our stage volume was pretty high.

Here are a few pics of the venue just to give you an idea.

ah

any other ideas on what would get me super loud super clean fender-esque tone?

really dig your drummers sound too dude! really thick sounding

What's your price range.

My favorite loud clean amps are fender super reverbs and twins. There are some great deals on silverface twins out there if you can wait till one comes up.

It is like, if you do not have atleast three modern BR:evil::evil:TAL amps you are not welcome in the amp forum and cast as an outsider.
