Members ysottot
I got a new XV-910 for Christmas and thinking about upgrading the tuners. Anyone know what replacement would work? looking for locking tuners. Don't want to drill if possibleLove the guitar but needs a setup. Members twotimingpete
just a guess but I bet there's locking tuners on GFS that'll fit.
Members Minnie The Moocher
On my 910, I'll replace the nut before the tuners.

Members PunkKitty
On my XV-700 I replaced the tuners with the Wilkinson locking tuners that Jay sells. They were a direct fit. No drilling was required. After using the Wilkinsons for a while, they are more of a pain in the butt than they are worth IMHO. They are very stable, but restringing takes patience. I'm not going to replace them again, but if I did I'd buy a set of regular non locking tuners from Wilkinson, Grover, Schaller, etc. I might also consider the Sperzel style locking tuners that Jay sells. I suspect that they are direct drop in replacements. Contact Jay to be safe.
