Members Ralph onion
I just saw one and to my tired GAS eyes it looks fine! Can't wait to play one.
Members vcnyls
I played one and thought it was quite nice. I can't decide if I like the looks or not though. Honestly, if I were buying an SG (and I'd love one), I'd go with a Standard.
Members bsman
I've not seen one in person, but I think I could rock that. The extra snap of a maple neck might work really well on an SG...
Members jhphoto
put chrome covers in the white one and it would be sexy as hell

Members ubernerd
I've played the white one. I A/B'd it against my SG standard; I really liked it. It played well and the maple really balances well with a darker voiced amp. I kinda want one now.
Members slvrsrpnt
I haven't seen one in a store yet, but the natural and blue ones look great in the stock photos.
Members hazydaz13
man it's hard to wrap my head around that...it looks like it's unfinished still...
Members Slave2TheAudio
Not a huge person on maple FBs so this one really isn't my thing. Plus, I am not really bonding with any of the colors. I have heard that they play well, so more power to ya. Go try one out!
Members ExiledCrow
I don't hate the looks of those, but not sure I like it either, but its probably from years of conditioning If I saw one in person there's a good chance I WOULD like it, 'cuz, well, it's an SG and I f'ing LOVE SGs! I do kinda like that green one ... What kind of neck one these?
Members pvwolfgang5150
I have never seen any of the maple fretboard SG's or Les Pauls.

Members ten56gibby
I like the idea, but it just doesn't look right. Having a really hard time warming up to these. And I hate that I can't just let myself love it. Maple is my favorite fretboard wood.
Members cbh5150
FWIW, the finish on the body and neck is a satin, not a gloss. Not as rough-feeling as the faded SGs/LPs.
Members etawful
I usually don't like maple fingerboards, but . . . there's something about that natural body with the maple neck that I kind of dig.
Members ExiledCrow
Well, as long as the neck isn't 50's fat I'm sure I could learn to like it right quick! I like a satin finish ....
Members Alchemist
the body feels like it was finished with a can of spray paint.... big turn off.... I like a nice satin finish, but this was not it... not impressed
Members crashclc
I dunno. I love maple boards but on an SG it just looks wrong to me.
Members mnewb1
I dunno ... I'm not loving it at first sight, but I haven't played one yet.
Members gasolinefight
I tried one, they play well, but I'm just not sure about an all maple guitar, maybe i'm just a purist when it comes to stuff like this, but to me an SG body should at least be mahogany, not maple. But hey, if you like it, and it plays good in your hands and sounds good to your ears, then to hell with what I think, just buy the damn thing.
