Members Fusion1
I tried matching up the pickguard to one of my ALL PARTS and WARMOTH pickguards and none of the hole matched. The guitar has a tortoise guard and I'd like black. What kind of a PITA am I going to have in finding a replacement?
Members schoolie1
I see them on Ebay from time to time. I think the seller is rt1sales or something like that. If you have the old pickguard you can send a tracing to one of these outfits like Pickguardian and they'll get it to you. The G&L pickguards are totally different from Fender Telecasters. Members DaveGrima
I had the same problem. No one makes replacement gaurds for G and L. The dealer I bought my ASAT from wanted $50 to order a replacement. Fuck that. I had a luthier at a local guitar shop cut me one for $15.

Members Fusion1
Also anyone know if a standard strat trem bar will work for the G&L trem? The guy I bought it from said he never had one for it.

Members Scarywoody
Did you try Pick Guard Heaven? http://pickguards.us/pricegandl.html I've also been looking for a trem bar for my Tribute Legacy strat, so far no luck.
Members expat701
I've had good experience with Terrapin Guitars - he'll custom make any kind of pickguard. http://www.terrapinguitars.com/

Members mike42
The Tribute bars aren't threaded either - they're in with a set screw. I ordered one from G&L - check their site. A generic bar might work as long as long as it fit in the hole, and you could find a set screw to fit. They also use a small teflon type plug that is a PITA; it goes in ahead of the set screw. Members Fusion1
How much was a replacement from G&L? I might just flip this G&L if this is going to be too much of a PITA to find parts for.
Members mike42
It's been a year or two since I ordered the parts. I'm thinking maybe 20-25 for the arm and 5 or so for the set screw pack.
