Members DIEZELPOWER77
I'm looking to get into this kinda music, and am looking for a place to start. I'm looking for music to listen to, and how to learn to play it. I'm already in the know of Brian Setzer, and Reverend Horton Heat(my fave). Members Ralph onion
Buy the Sun Records double cd of Rockabilly. Hear some great songs that never made the top 10 and some fantastic pickin.
Members foppy
I like the 4-disc Rhino compilation Rockin' Bones: 1950s Punk and Rockabilly. Also I'd recommend getting a good Gene Vincent compilation like The Screaming End. Cliff Gallup, his guitar player on his first sessions, will always be number one for me. Members foppy
Also, at the risk of stating the obvious, youtube is a good place to look for lessons. This guy has a whole series of rockabilly lessons, and he presents some good basic ideas pretty well.
