I have a chance to buy two of these for the price of one, and I'm pretty stoked aboutit. Trouble is they're about 30 minutes North of me and I have no carso I wont be able to play until I get there. They have the Super 7 single coils and the V5 humbucker and both axes are made in Japan. Ibanez has always put out a great guitar from their Japan factory, so these pups should be more than adequate for hard rock right? They have Ibanez's proprietary tremolo bridge as well, are there any issues I should be aware of withthese bridges?

Ibanez has made excellent hard rock guitars for the last twenty years, but their stock pickups have typically been their achilles heal. You can expect them to be serviceable, but count on replacing them for something with more bite, articulation, and definition in the future. They tend to be a bit weak and rather muddy.
