Members tlbonehead
yes, a guitar w/o tone controls, especially on the bridge, would seldom leave its case with me.
Members clay sails
*drool*I typically don't use tone knobs at all. Maybe I'm tone-deaf, but I like the sound of treble and when I want more bass I just switch the pickup.
Members Spike Li
Its funny, Ive always had my bridge tone knob on 10 because I liked it that way, but recently Ive been turning it down a little... I like to turn the neck tone down a lot on occasion, ranging from 7-3.

Members lowbrow
I run maxed out till the other guitarist yells at me for being too bright. Then I roll off just a little.
Members JDE
I get a lot of use out of the tone knobs on my Love Rock. The neck p'up is quite dark, so I normally boost the treble on my amp to compensate, then back off the bridge p'up tone to balance it. I have thought about changing the p'ups, but generally I like the newer stock Tokai p'ups (Mk 4? Lost count...) and my sound is pretty mid-heavy, so the some extra high-end is a bit of a bonus really.
Members ExiledCrow
Never use the tone knob, even on the guitars that have them. On the other hand I suck, so maybe as I figure out what the hell I'm doing I'll find a a use for them ...
Members guitarcapo
The "tone suck knob" is just there for decoration. You're supposed to adjust for tone at the amp if you're any kind of a man at all.
Members zooLemon
I only ever use the tone knob as a correction to dial the highs back mid-song if my amp is too bright. As soon as the song is done, I would fix things on the amp and be back to wide open.
Members ugameus
At the moment I am not using a tone control. I have a push/pull on the bridge for out of phase tones, which I am liking more and more. I will be putting my Q-filter back in though. I miss that thing on the bridge bucker. Members tlbonehead
I usually adjust my gain with the volume knob and my amount of "cut" in the mix with the tone.
