Members cratz2 Posted March 19, 2010 Members Share Posted March 19, 2010 I think the magnets are the same. I think there are just more windings on the Plus, thus, it's a bit hotter. Some folks prefer to have the same hotness in the neck and bridge (resulting in the neck pickup actually being a little hotter since it pickups more vibrations) and some folks prefer a noticeably hotter bridge pickup.
