Members CoqBelliqueux
Do I remove all the strings, then loosen the trussrod, then I just unscrew it? Any special care for packing and shipping? thanks :love:

Members ending_zero
for guitar and bass necks - I go down to the FedEx office and ask them for those triangular shipping boxes. The Box itself is free (I don't ship anything via FedEx anymore). Then I get a regular, 1-foot cubed box and cut it so that its one long, flat piece. I measure it and fold it around the neck into a smaller, more form fitting triangular cocoon around the neck, then slip it into the larger FedEx box. Then I cover up all the FedEx markings and securely tape it up and address it. Take it to the Post office and ship it (usually priority mail). around the neck I get them from USPS.My buddy takes the standard USPS boxes, tears them open where they're glued, flips them around backwards, and uses them to ship UPS.
