Members Caleb B
In early January I had my stock INF pickups in my Ibanez RG350DX replaced with Seymour Duncan Blackouts (active pickups) in the bridge and neck. I left a passive INF pickup in the middle position since I don't use the middle pickup anyways and all it did was make it really quiet. So I plug in my guitar today and can barely hear when I play it. I switch from the first to the second position on my pickup selector and it got loud. My guitar hasn't suffered from any falls or anything as far as I know, but the first and fifth positions on the pickup selector are really quiet while 2-4 are as loud as they should be except they all sound exactly the same tone wise and they sound like my guitar would if it were on the neck position and working correctly. Any ideas?
Members Caleb B
Did my batteries die maybe? Just thought of that, not experienced with actives so I'm not sure how often they need to be replaced.
