Members Markymarc1979
Who here has a lipstick loaded guitar, I borrowed a friends MIM start which is loaded with Lipsticks, they sound awesome, never been a pickup I played any attention to, it made me want to play more slide guitar for some reason. Giving serious thought about putting them in my MIM strat at the neck and middle.
Members Chill Mike D
My brother just left to go to Iraq again, so I'm borrowing his Danelectro baritone while he's gone. It sounds great.

Members guitarcapo
They seem to vary a lot. Some sound tinny and cold. And others sound fantastic. I had a freind with an Ibanez Talmon loaded with 3 of them and that guitar sounded fantastic for bluesy lead guitar, twangy country, pop-rock...everything. I don't know if it's that the pickups vary a lot...or it depends on the guitar...

Members cratz2
I've wanted a lipstick loaded strat for about 15 years now. Always pictured it black with a pearl or an aged pearl pickguard and black or black chrome pickups.

Kent Armstrong set in this one I made for JoeBoy a few years back: Duncan set in my MIM '50's Strat: Did WD make their own? I think Talmans came with either KAs or WDs. And Artec makes a few. Maybe they are the same as GFS, not sure.

Members Kung Fu Panda
I just got a single GFS 'strat' lipstick that I was going to put in my '66 duo-sonic.But the feet are too long, making it stick up too far. The Duo body is shallower than a strat, but it's something to keep in mind. People who have the SD, what's the power like? I see they're only 4.3K which seems well low. Members Spudro
I have one of these: A Telestar Mona model... these lipsticks are completely abnormal. They are quite strong and very versatile. They have wonderful harmonic complexity. I don't know the story on these pickups, but they are not your average lipsticks.
