Members Montiel_735
There was this nice guitar I was offered for $200. I'm really looking to sell for more when I get it because I need to pay off this Marshall amp I bought but I was wondering, would I get alot for it? Heres a old ebay auction that is the same as the one I will purchase. http://cgi.ebay.com/Vintage-Teisco-Delrey-Del-Rey-EP-8T-Hollow-Body-Guitar_W0QQitemZ270538378760QQcmdZViewItemQQptZGuitar?hash=item3efd580e08 Just mine doesnt come with the original box or strap. How much could i get for this?

Members archiemax
Wow, that was my first electric--$29.95 clearance at Gemco. Mine was red & black burst. Well, it was cool in 1965. $610 and it doesn't even have the headstock logo? Kind of extreme if you ask me...now if it'd been the metallic blue Spectrum 4-pickup model with the multi-colored pushbuttons, that'd be another story............. Members kulardenu
I had one just like it minus the trem. Terrible player, as were most Teisco's I have ever had my hands on. Good for a nostalgia purchase or a high strung slide guitar but you would need to change the pups anyway for good tone. That would be better money spent towards a Hooker IMHO. Members Mike Fiasco
Some are junk but not all. Teisco made a whole range of guitars from good to crap. The good ones are not great, but they are unique looking and have their own weird sound. I'd pick one up if one came by at my price.
Members littlemilo
I recognize the body and the pickups, they are the same as my Kingston. Different headstock, neck, color, electronics, and mine had a wood bridge base under that same roller type bridge. Same tailpiece too. I bought mine for $20 at a garage sale, tried to play it for a few years, then made a clock out of it. It is a better clock than it was a guitar. Wow, that was my first electric--$29.95 clearance at Gemco. Mine was red & black burst. Well, it was cool in 1965. $610 and it doesn't even have the headstock logo? Did yours look anything like this, archiemax?
Members Mr_GoodBomb
Play it. If it plays well, and seems reliable, go for it. $200 is pretty high, though. But these are either total junk or fairly nice, so if it really is a "nice guitar," it might be cool to have.
