Members axegrinder
Congrats on a fine deal. That tune sounds great too. Were all the guitar parts recorded with the Custom II?I changed the pickups on my Custom II except that I put in nicer P90's. If you decide to change pickups remember that the pickguard is cut for soapbars. To do it right will require a new guard. Also, one unusual thing about the Tele Custom II...the stock pickups are attached to a flat bar that's mounted to the pick guard by height adjustment screws. Soapbars are almost always mounted to the body via screws through the pickup itself. Here you can see that I left the original screw holes in the guard. The pickups were mounted to the body with the guard off.

Members poolshark
Sort of OT, but the pattern reflected in the guitar/pickguard is giving me ideas.

Yeah, i used the custom ii for everything, bar the bass, ....and drum loops;)I've been looking into the pickup swap and right enough, i would need a new pick guard or get it cut. I think i'll stick with the stock p-ups for now, i could always change em down the road. Im loving yours in all black too! Very tasty!Thankyou again, for your kind words and advice:thu:

Members reverberlayed
HNGD! I played one of those at a local shop once and I really liked it except that the store is crap and one of the tuners was busted. Anyway, I think the recording was really good, it had a nice laid back feel to it. That's the kind of music I wish I could create. Enjoy that guitar, and hopefully you'll learn to like P90s - I know I love 'em.
