Members bigconig
Historic reissues have inked serial numbers and no Made in USA. That's one in the pic is fine.

BC, do you know if the 57 has the same neck as the 54 or is it more like a 58-59?
Members AndrewGG
BC, do you know if the 57 has the same neck as the 54 or is it more like a 58-59? I had a Murphy-aged R7GT and the neck was huge-but comfortable. I also briefly owned an R9 and the neck on that was considerably slimmer, much like the 50s profile on non-Custom Shop Les Pauls.I suspect the 57 is more like the 54. Members Angry Tele
if its like Fender it shouldn't say made in the US anywhere because there was no such thing as made in anywhere but the US in the 50s. For Fender it wasn't until the 60s they started using non-US parts (German tuners)...I hate Made in the US labels, looks tacky IMO.
Members Chairborne
Same thing as LP Classic. It didn't have "MADE IN USA" on it then, so they don't put it on there now.
