Members Mudder1310
The funny thing is that no one wants (or needs) Gibson to do anything extraordinary or revolutionary. Just make the same guitars you used to make really well. I'm not looking for anything new from Gibson, I do want my $5k LP custom to be perfect. No more robots, no more dusk tigers, no more reverse V's. Just well made classics. Let Epiphone test market that other crap.
Members neffrocks
Yeah, I'm sure Gibson's gonna go under. They're {censored}ed. We won't see them around for much longer.
Members Edge11
Maybe all the Gibson endorsee's could pool their money and buy Gibson? Page (for instance) should have some change around ... This is sooo possible like when dave mustaine wanted to buy jackson.

Members Brewski
look - I'm a Gibson hater like the rest of folks here - simply because I think they are overpriced and I want them!! So I buy copies to placate the need but I would like to get an older LP model Tobacco burst.
Members Sheik Yerbouti
What does Behringer spend R&D Money on? oh yeah, this: That doesn't change the fact they're doing hell of a lot better than Gibson.
Members DARKMETL/
Just read the reviews on Gibson from former AND current employees....hilarious reading. What a bunch of idiots over there. http://www.glassdoor.com/Reviews/Gibson-Guitar-Reviews-E6869.htm
Frets99
Dangit! I've had a couple of Gibsons at my house over the last couple of years. I should have plugged it into the Behringer amp. Armageddon!!!!!
Members Doctor49
You don't get to be the big dog by having a lax atmosphere. It's pretty demanding. EG true you also don't stay top dog by using management techniques that may threaten the continuity of the business.
Members relva3
I'd like to see Gibson under new management, because a new atmosphere would breathe life into their lineup and improve the end-product. I don't think the current lineup is bad, but it could use some work, as well as some firing/switching things up in their innovation department. Members faberbz
Can't speak for Behringer... But the Gibson acoustic plant is outside of town here. Very high turnover--most people don't last a year. Lots of injuries. Really weird crap goes down out there. Just about every construction worker in town has a story from their Gibson days. And the exotic hardwoods some of the finish carpenters use around here is amazing
Members Alchemist
I'm sure they do, from the videos I have seen of German auto plants, and based on some people I have talked to..... Germans run their factories pretty efficiently/cleanly..... I would guess that Uli is probably no different.....

I don't think Gibson is Waterboarding their employees yet, maybe when Fender takes over the company. :poke:
Members neffrocks
Seriously, how many of you really know anything about the Gibson factory? I'm not saying you're right or wrong, but really? Everybody's a factory expert now? Oh yea, and who gives a {censored} about Behringer?
Members GilmourD
I don't think Gibson is Waterboarding their employees yet, maybe when Fender takes over the company. :poke: Every Fender employee I've ever worked with (and that's a few) has been quite happy and loved working for Fender. Every Gibson employee I've ever met has either been miserable or a prick. The miserable ones would probably rather be waterboarded.
