Members geek_usa
Thinking about putting some lace sensors into my strat. Probably a Red, Silver, Blue config. Should I get some 500k pots to go with those or do you think the stock 250k are ok? What would be the major difference? Thanks
Members pixelchemist
i use 250k pots with mine and prefer it that way.
Members Dr_Kuh
250k. And I would make an gold silver blue combo (neck/mid/bridge) to have less output. But if RSB is okay then go for it.

I would also go for the 250k. 500k makes a guitar brighter and are usually used with humbuckers, although there are exceptions. Interestingly, I have the same combo as the above poster, although in a slightly different configuration. Mine is: silver/neck, gold/middle, blue/bridge.One reason is that the silver is higher output than the gold and I've read that if you want to have the classic Strat "quack" in the 2 & 4 positions, the middle pickup should be lower ouptput than the neck or bridge. But whatever works for you is cool.
