Members jr_vw2
On one of my guitar builds that I have going on right now, I had a friend laser cut son decals that I put on the head stock. I am in to process of spraying clear over them so I can ultimately sand it smooth and not feel the decals. How many coats of clear should I spray before I try to sand it? I dont want to take the risk of sanding into the decals. I have 17 coats on there now but I am kind of thinking I should go more. Any ideas? I can provide pics if nessecary. Thanks
Members trashedlostfdup
probably not too many more. but when you do wet sand, use a block or you will never get it flat. i did about 20 when i painted a rebel flag guitar, and the colors werent quite level. damn clost though.
