Now this one just a few minutes ago. It's the preamble to ..... (dramtic reverb please) .. DUN Dun duhhh ..... The End Of Days! Haahaahaah! I got a 2012 Doomer/Jesus freak/Oxycontin addict that lives nearby and he's already outside with his rifle, wandering around in his front yard with a fully loaded AR-10, waiting for "them goddamed Mexican refugees to storm the neighborhood!". It was this strange "Movie of the week" type made-for-TV crapola. But it was fun to watch. The special FX were kiddy-town but kinda cool, like when the great crack intersected with a railbridge as a train with hundreds of stupid humans fell into the crack along with the train and the bridge! I think it was actually called "A crack in the Earth". An odd mix of biblical crap, an image of Satan as a giant locust made of fire, and other nonsense. This huge crack started somewhere and by the end it had made an entire circle, so this funnel shaped "plug" of the planet just launched itself away from the Earth .. it was about as big as the US .... emotionally satisfying ending, all is well. I need to see if he matches the mental image I have of him.He's inside at the moment, probably watching his collection of "Left Behind" movies about now, cradling his AR-10 and tossing down a couple more 80mg Oxys, backed up with about ten 10mg Methadones. He's showed me his Rx lists several times, he's on more opiates than most smack addicts I've seen (I used to be a cop in southeast Los Angeles another lifetime ago .. been nearly 20 years but you never forget what a dead junkie looks like laying behind the dumpster at Denny's, or in the men's room at McDonalds.). The dude takes Dilaudid, Oxycontin, Oxycodone, Methadone, and eeven smokes a bit of weed now and again (jsyk, I got no problem with any of that .. but mixed with a fear-based religion and an unhealthy attraction to his gun and you get a time bomb waiting to go off). He eats that stuff like friggin M&Ms. He's not prior military or police or whatever, so I wonder about his proficiency (safety wise) with that AR-10. For those ignorant of such things, that AR-10 is what is known as a .308 caliber rifle. Easily take out a person at 500+ yards. It could easily go through at least 5 of these "double wide mobile homes" we all live in out here in the desert. So you see my concern! He's just another 60 year old baby boomer "legal smack addict" cheatin' the system out of full disability and full medical ... brought to you by the US taxpayer.
