Anybody here build your own pedals?

Until about a month ago, I had never really even considered it, but I've built two in the past month, and I really enjoy it...plus, they sound good.

 

The first one was a MKII Fuzz pedal. I'm not a huge fuzz guy, but this was a group build, so I did it more for the experience than for the pedal itself. Still, it turned out pretty well.

 

Here's what the guts look like (this is before I wired in the stomp switch and the DC jack).

I had such a good time building that one that I ordered a BSIAB2 kit and built it in 2 days.

I really love the way this pedal sounds.

 

I don't know what I'm going to do next, or when I'll be able to do it, but I'm sure I'm going to do more pedal builds in the future. It's made me really want to do an amp build as well.

Guitar Heel bought a BYOC fuzz, i know because i painted the enclosure for him...whether or not he's built it yet i dunno

I've never built any, but I did put a couple on when I assembled this last week!

I built the BYOC Muff pi and a couple other kits from them. I learned a lot and the pedals sound great. Next up is an amp. I'm kinda on hold on that though till I get back to the states.
