Members Slave2TheAudio
Be specific and include a pic if you can. For me, it has to be either the Vintage '62 strat (in olympic weight) or the Vintage '62 Custom Telecaster (in Black)
Members notjonahbutnoah
If you're speaking of one's I've encountered personally, its my own strat. If you mean of all the models, I like the toronado, the ones that came in bright vintage colors and had pearly pickboards. Members Musicscotty
Strat Plus or Plus Deluxe. Total class. A decent site here to view some nice examples. http://xhefriguitars.com/index.html
Members GreatDane
it's hard to narrow it down beyond a great tele, some of the '50s or '60s custom shop strats they've got out there or a really nice jaguar. those would be my top Fenders, i think. Members brianeharmonjr
Out of all the Fenders new, used, and vintage I've played and owned, my favorite is my AVRI '62 Hot Rod Strat in Sherwood Green. Second would be my AVRI Jag in Ocean Turquoise. Don't know if they're the best ever, but they are for me.
Members Carbohydrates
I'm a huge offset fan, so JMs win it for me (Jags, Mustangs, Jazz basses, etc. are all cool with me, too). I used to own this one:

Members clay sails
Mine is one of Mazi Bee's Japanese strats. Damn, its nice to look at. Plus, its a strat so it automatically beats all the others. I don't have a picture of it because that would be, well, creepy...

Members ten56gibby
Problem w Fender is they miss the perfection mark by exactly ONE feature every time. But if I had to pick anyway... Fender Jag in Ice Blue metallic or LPB that has faded. HAS TO have matching headstock. Would be PERFECT if it were 25.5" scale. (see?)
Members Slave2TheAudio
I'm a huge offset fan, so JMs win it for me (Jags, Mustangs, Jazz basses, etc. are all cool with me, too). I used to own this one: Tom, Man I jizz over that in my sleep. I loved everything about that gitfiddle. Gibby, I feel ya. I feel the same way about fender. They always seem to be off by at least one feature. But, I still love them. I'm in the market for a tele or strat for my birthday. I cant really find something that clicks yet though. Members jrockbridge
I'm sure there are better Fender guitars, but I love the feel of my '05 Am Dlx Strat. The SCN pups just weren't my thing, so I sold them and replaced them with Fralin Vintage Hot x 2 and SP43 bridge.

Members Mermph
I thought Fender would have come out with a high-end version of the 51 by now.
