Members timesquare
I like them, I have no problem with them. What's your take on them?
Members w00dsy
nah tried them for a number of years but just don't use a trem so i have gone back to a fixed bridge. I used to love doing motorbike noises when i was young and couldn't play, now i'm grown up and can't play much better. I do a lot of dropped D so a locking nut is a bit of a pain for me, i like the fact that they are almost always in tune though. I still have 1 geetar with a Floyd and i can leave it for months and come back and it's still in tune, or pretty close to it.

Members The Rossness
Most of my guitars are floyd equipped =)
Members jumpwin
I brought a Floyd equipped Ibanez, and it's great, but I'm still getting my head around the Floyd. I can't do 10% of what people teach on youtube. But I'm persisting.

Members GCDEF
I don't use whammy much, but I like the Floyd a lot. It's really nice play 4 hours and not even think about tuning.
Members ashasha
I like them a lot. Very easy to use, stays in tune and I like to use a bit of vibrato when I play so it's nice to know that I am going to return to pitch every single time. Members tiltsta
Sure, but I prefer the original ibanez edge trem to the other variants.
Members cincy_cosmo
I like fully floating trems so I am of course a Floyd Rose fan. I also like the fact you can load the strings on one side of the guitar and do not need to access the back. I am also a locking nut fan, but am mystified why locking nuts are only associated with FR guitars. That said, I have an American Strat with a stock Fender bridge right now and it is adequate. Someday I might get another FR guitar but it is not something I need now.
Members webwarmiller
I am also a locking nut fan, but am mystified why locking nuts are only associated with FR guitars. Locking nuts are fantastic as long as the bridge has fine tuners....without fine tuners at the bridge the last thing you want is a locking nut.... Members Faber
not at all - I dislike trems in general because I dislike the feel they impart on an instrument, like the give that is there when you bend a string. I also find FRs huge wastes of time to change strings on though I'm sure it could be done faste if I was used to it. There are just too many many guitars out there that feel right from the get go with having to make changes to my technique or setup preferences. Nothing wrong with a FR, but if the question is whether i like them the answer is NO
Members _pete_
I'm a huge FR fan. I really don't even use the bar that much but I know that when I do, my guitar will always be in tune. I also find them much easier to string and set up than ANY other tremolo system.
Members newmaxnew
Not really, I haven't used a tem for many years now and don't really miss it. However I am playing very different music now than I did when I used a trem. I liked them just fine when I did have a use for a trem. Max
Members scuzzo
not at all... i tend not to like any tremolo bar kinda thing.. but my experence with the floyds and kayler.. have not been good ones
Members Brandenburg
I really like the FR trem that is on my jackson..Very reliable and always maintains good tuning if you take a few minutes to stretch the strings properly:thu:

Members AxAxSxS
Cheesey 80's licks=Floyd Rose. Real men don't need no stinking tremolo! Real men don't limit thier options I love my floyds, I'm at about 90% right now as far as guitars with trems vs without. I may be a bit biased because I started out with a strat, but the floyd is just the perfect evolution of the tremelo. even on songs where I dont use it at all I love the tuning reliability. I can go a whole show or practise session and maybe have to tweak one of the fine tuners once. If I could get one on an acoustic, that would be interesting:idea:
Members ExiledCrow
Yes, if I want a trem, I want a Floyd (or descendant), but I don't always want a trem ...
