Members Willyguitar
Ugh. I HATE them. As soon as I hear that in a song, I usually turn it off. It's so naff.

Members twotimingpete
when they're used in the comical metally fashion, I absolutely hate it. when used tastefully in the right way in a solo that complements the melody, then sure.
Members Uma Floresta
Never tasteful or appropriate. Please stop making those sounds.
Members Willyguitar
Actually... now I come to think of it, although I generally hate them, David Gilmour does 'em alright.
Members Riggins
anything that's overused can be unpleasant. used properly in the right proportion and in the right context they are fine (ie: Billy Gibbons and David Gilmour) Saying you hate them is like saying you hate vibrato. YMMV

Members AxAxSxS
I love using them. I do NOT love using them to sound like teh Zackzorz. I frigging hate that guys playing and he is the reason there is such an upturned nose at these techniques
Members m90guy
I {censored}ing love the {censored}! John Christ and Bill Steer are 2 of my favorite players though. Both abused the technique way before zakk duechebag did.

Members guitarman3001
I use tiny jazz picks so I have to make an effort to not play them. If I'm not careful, every other note I play can be a pinch harmonic. I like them once in a while but not when used excessively ala zack wylde. Members scottgd
I can only think of a handful of guitarists that have used them, in my opinion, tastefully. GilmourGibbonsBuchanon Perhaps Gary Moore but he might overdue it also.
