Members metalheadUK
In lieu of the sticky jam (which is going on in 2.0...check it out), Heres a couple of BTs I found. Up first is a track that reminds me a bit of Deep Purple: http://soundclick.com/share?songid=9066341 I think it's in G. Also this one, that reminds me of Guns and Roses: http://soundclick.com/share?songid=9066342 Seems to be in D. Have fun!

Members Jkater
Here's a take on the "purple" track. Marc suggested to me recently to try a little more gain for a "creamier" tone and I must say I love it. I'm starting to see how I could get inspired using this kind of tone. I have interesting ideas in my head, they don't show up yet on the guitar because muscle memory is playing tricks on me again making me play my "signature licks" (I'm being a little sarcastic here but I guess some of those phrases aren't that aweful after all). Regarding those ideas in my head, I need to just sit down and find them on the fretboard and let my finger learn the moves so i can pull them out when jamming. I'm using my beloved Pacifica 904 on this track. Pocketpod (forget which amp I used) direct in the mixer/audio interface. Thanks for listening!Mixing red and blue. Members Burgess
^ Thanks for giving a listen! I probably should've listened to it before I tracked but I was in a bit of a hurry. Had to get ready to go to work.
Members nuke_diver
downloaded and attempt...they really push me but they were fun Marc...but not fit for public listening I think...fortunately I can't since I didn't record anything Richard those were smokin' licks! I'd love to have those "signature licks"Burgess very cool. I found it very Slashlike. And in my book that's a very good thing. Really fit that BT

Members Undertaker4
Really like this, especially the phrasing and landing the notes -- it sounds like electric is coming more naturally to you. I dig that tone as well, much more "lead" sounding. Great stuff!

Members Burgess
I think this is the first time I've heard you play electric. Sounds good! I enjoyed that. Who was that guitar player that played with Ten Years After? Kinda reminded me of him a little. Nice!
Members metalheadUK
Hi guys,Thanks for posting some stuff...I'll get around to listening (and posting) this week. And if anybody else has any BTs they fancy, or any style suggestions ,then feel free to chime in....I( still have ALL the old HCEG sticky BTs, plus quite a few others, so if anybody has a BT style request, I'll try and get something posted. This is not intended as a stickyjam replacement..that is still going on 2.0, and I do urge you players to try and hit them as well, but this is a playing thread...lets hear what people want to play and try and sort it.Thanks!
