Les Paul for a Strat good trade or bad?

Thanks guys. I love the strat so I think I made the best I could out of a bad situation.

Yeah the top on that LP is god awful. 3 piece just smacks of the cheapness of the norlin years.

 

But having said that how did it play?

 

I think with 70's fenders or gibson's it's a gamble either way so if your diggin the strat then good enough.

If you like the Strat thats all that matters...personal preference holds more value anyway IMO, and ive traded guitars that made people shake their heads...i had a car that i bought used that had a smell going on...plagued me till the day i sold it....rock on brother the Fender looks awesome.

Since you're happy with it (and that's all that matters), great trade! I'd rather have a good Strat than a good LP anyday.

 

Don't listen to the haters raining on the parade. Many don't have a good LP or a good Strat!

I'm much more of a Strat guy, so the 74 Strat is more appealing to me. So as long as it played and sounded good (no CBS issues) I say
